Bowling

We took the kids bowling for the first time this morning. The bowling part was "so so" but we had an awesome time riding all the rides! I think this place is the best kept secret in Naperville. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves and got unlimited ride passes for $5! Don't let our secret out cause I think we're going to be spending a lot of time here until the warm weather comes.



Finn was the bowling champ today!

Molls took 3rd place, but she told me she wanted to let Uncle Danny beat her.

Spaceship ride. A little unsure, but no crying.

"Get me off of here!" Of course, I told the operator to keep the ride going so I could get some good crying pictures :)



Weirdos wanted to sit on the bench instead of riding horses on the carousel.



Good thing we didn't send the kids on this one alone cause it went FAST! I am still nauseous!

New Shoes

Finn is due for a new pair of shoes, so we took a trip to the mall tonight. Of course, we waited forever for someone to help us out at Stride Rite, only to find out that they had no shoes in his size. We checked JC Penny on the way out. Couldn't find anything we liked, but came across these sweet Lightening McQueen slippers. Even though they are two sizes too big, he was not going to leave the store without them on his feet. So, for $4, I made this little boy very very happy.



Gotta include a picture of Patrick too...just cause I think he's cute!

Patrick

Wanted to share some info on Patrick. He had his 4 month check up this week. He is 26.5 inches and weighs 19 pounds! Yes, he is HUGE and getting so big so fast. He is about 95th percentile for length and over 98th for weight! He was rolling around all over the table at his appointment, so Dr. Kahn thinks he may be an early crawler. YIKES!!! We started him on solids a few weeks ago, and to no surprise, he eats every last bite!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Tonight we celebrated Dan's birthday with some Aurileos and a DQ cake. All Dan needs to make this birthday complete is a Hawkeye win. GO HAWKS!

We Will Miss You, Uncle JP

My uncle died unexpectedly yesterday. He had a massive heart attack. He had always treated me like I was part of his family. He took me on his family vacations, attended and video taped all my sporting events and was there when I graduated high school and college. Please keep my aunt and cousins in your prayers. He leaves behind four boys: David, 23; Eric, 21; Kyle, 16; and Lance 9. They are fantastic kids, (Lance is my Godson and Eric is Patrick's Godfather) and I am so proud of them for pulling together and staying strong at such a hard time. We will miss you, Uncle JP.

Christmas at Mimi and Papa's

The spoiling continued at Mimi's and Papa's on Christmas evening. The kids were up to their elbows in presents! Do our kids have the best grandparents in the world or what?
