HOLY SH*T!!!

We had one awesome day of weather at the lake this weekend, but not quite warm enough to spend more than 30 seconds in the water. I don't believe Finn has ever heard the phrase that is the title of this blog, but I am pretty sure that's exactly what he was thinking when he jumped off the boat and into the 64 degree lake. We had an AWESOME time and can't wait to go back for more fun!!!

Last Day at Creative World School

Today was Finn's last day at Creative World. It was really hard to leave the place that Finn has loved since he was 12 weeks old! But...the boys and I are looking forward to our first summer together! We are really going to miss all his little friends, and we are especially going to miss Ms. Andrea and Ms. Nicole. They are the BEST!!!

Basement Treasures

Patrick and I pulled some old toys out of the basement this morning. He was particularly interested in the see n say.

Zoo

I survived my first ever solo trip to the zoo with both boys. Patrick was completely uninterested in the animals but still happy to get out of the house. Overall, I think we all had a great afternoon. Oh and the zoo is one of those great places for a stay at home mom to go on a weekday afternoon! We practically had the whole place to ourselves!

Two Little Monkeys

We tried out a new place today. It was called Monkey Bizness. I always thought my kids were close in age, so is it really possible that this place was too boring for Finn and a little too much for Patrick? Patrick probably could have done everything if he were a few months older. I think next time we'll bring a friend for Finn (probably Molly!) and then I can just worry about chasing Patrick around.
